Winter Soldier Bionic Arm

Several years back I was working on a script for a short film, and it just wasn't clicking the way I wanted it to. Since it was for me and I didn't have a deadline to meet, I decided to find some other way to be creative while giving my script a break.

I had recently seen Captain America: Civil War and that Halloween my sisters and I even dressed as characters from the movie. So, since I clearly had Marvel on the brain, I decided to write a short script based on the Winter Soldier.

The idea was inspired by the 2004 Captain America comic #33. There is a scene where Bucky's arm is in the lab being examined by S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists and it begins fighting them, despite not being attached to Bucky. I thought it would be fun to see how that concept might play out in a movie.

Marvel has since included the Winter Soldier in more films and shows, so the way the arm is removed isn't canon, but it was still fun to write.

I've used the "Winter Soldier writer's block method" a few times, I'll try to post the rest of the scripts soon.

* Obviously I don't own the characters, universe, or anything else related to Marvel. It was just a fun exercise I did, and I thought it'd be cool to share.
